It helps us find the address of the incident quicker, it stops us having to drive up and down streets trying to find the exact location of the incident! Please have a number on the outside of your property

Driving:-
Ok - so your driving down the road, you hear the sirens and then this appears in your rear view mirror! what should you do??



first things first - DON'T PANIC!! but do try the following:-

  • Look & Listen,
  • Use Indicators or Hand Signal To Tell The Driver What You Intend To Do,
  • Find A Safe Place To Pull Over - As Soon As You Can - But Please Remember BE AWARE OF OTHER ROAD USERS/PEDESTRIANS
  • Get As Close To The Kerb As You Can Leaving A Gap Large Enough For The Vehicle To Get Through
  • Be Aware - There May Be More Than One Vehicle Coming Through
  • Before You Are Ready To Move Off, Check Your Mirrors, Signal And Then Manouvere Off.
